Abstract

Human life and the human family bonding is invaluable in this entire Universe. But due to modern world technological and industrial advancements created an environment for the human beings to experience and feel so many amenities even before their eligibility to access those. This situation is leading to so many human beings to lose their lives, permanent disabilities and severe injuries which are making an inexpressible grief to their associated human bonding. One of the major causes for such a situation is Motor Vehicle Accidents due to ineligible and unauthorized motor vehicle driving. This paper suggests an Offline based mechanism to avoid ineligible and Unauthorized access to motor vehicle for Driving, which will not allow any driver to drive the car until he has a valid driving license which is an indication of his eligibility to drive and also it avoids unauthorized access to Motor vehicle for driving who may have driving license but owner of the car does not want him to drive the car. It is a hardware based implementation to detect the driver eligibility using Driving License issuing authority database using a secure communication based Mobile application and an unauthorized access to the Motor Vehicle is handled by Mobile Application itself. The Motor Vehicle will have a Hardware component with a memory chip is placed in front of the Driver which is connected to the ignition module of the Vehicle used to decide whether to start the engine or not and also useful to detect driver's face for eligibility and authenticity of the driving. It is an offline working model at the end user but getting driver information from licensing authority database is handled by an online based Secured Mobile application. This high secure and unique key based application will be with the Primary Owner of the Vehicle, at first the owner will get the information of the people whom he wants to give access to his vehicle for driving, once he downloads the data, there will be a wired as well as wireless interface to transfer data to the memory chip that is mounted on the hardware module inside the vehicle. Now onwards it works Offline. This system is also capable of detecting and alerting driver's sleep activity. This system is designed in such a way to handle hardware failures and emergencies. In this paper, this model is presented with a Motor Car Vehicle, though there is no limitation to apply this to any type of Vehicle.
