Abstract
International interest in ethics and ethics programs has grown exponentially since 1994. There have been multiple international agreements in ethics and anticorruption as well as a host of conferences all over the world. The U.S. Office of Government Ethics has played a small but critical role in the development of these programs. The purpose of this field report is to chronicle some of those activities and try to make sense of them within the context of public administration.
