Abstract
A new iterative algorithm for the reconstruction of two-dimensional lossless objects is developed using time-domain scattering data. All of the calculations in both the forward and inversion algorithms are carried out efficiently in the time domain using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Computer simulations are presented to illustrate the usefulness of the present method. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 20: 72–77, 1999.
