Abstract
The Colebrook equation for determination of hydraulic resistances is implicit in fluid flow friction factors. Hence, it has to be approximately solved using an iterative procedure or using some of the approximate explicit formulas that were developed by many authors. The author shows one approximation of the Colebrook equation based on the Lambert W-function.
