Abstract
The relative retentions of twelve acetylated plant sterols were determined on fourteen gas-liquid chromatographic liquid phases. These phases were rated according to their ability to resolve three “critical sterol pairs”. The modified Carbowax, SP-1000 2 2 References to brand names are for identification and do not imply endorsement. adequately resolved all three pairs in thirty minutes at 240°.
