Abstract

In this paper, an enhanced error recovery method is proposed to provide ultra-reliable communication in NR systems. NR supports slot-based repetition for URLLC (ultra-reliable low-latency communication). This may not be suitable for low-latency services. The proposed method arranges an additional XOR code block in the code block group at the transmitting side. The XOR code block is used for error recovery when an error occurs in one of code blocks constituting the code block group. The previous method performs forward error correction (FEC) by channel decoding on a code block. On the other hand, by providing an additional error recovery among code blocks, the proposed method can efficiently support ultra-reliable communication.
