Abstract
Since the implementation of “Rise of Central China” policy in 2004, the economy of Hunan Province received a golden chance of development. The development is based on economic growth, while the economic growth has close relation with the change of the industrial structure. Using the data between 1995 and 2014, and building a multiple linear regression model by R language, this article studies the contribution of the growth of three important industries to the economic growth in Hunan Province. It concludes that the adjustment of the industrial structure is very important to the change of economic development mode and the sustainable development. Based on the result of the empirical study the article offers some suggestions to the provincial government.
