Abstract

The structure of oximes was proved by using available physical methods included (Infrared, Ultraviolet spectra and melting points). The aim of this study was to evaluate the ionization constant by conductivity method at different temperatures. The thermodynamic parameters namely (ΔG, ΔH, ΔS) of ionization reaction of these oximes as determined and discussed in details. The antibacterial activity of these oximes was tested against some bacteria. Optimized structure, boundary molecular orbitals (HOMO and LUMO) and global reactivity descriptors were analyzed by DFT calculations.
