Abstract
Face recognition technology is getting broadly used in different security applications. Face detection from a photo picture and face identification to search a correct person from a face database are the 2 major steps in face recognition technology. Retrieve facial characteristic points after a serious image processing during face detection phase.In this paper, an efficient weighting method for face identification on the retrieved facial characteristic points is proposed for matching the correct person from a human face database and it is proved that the time complexity is O(log N), where N is the number of faces in the database. The experimental results are presented with accuracy rate more than 91% with only one face picture exists and over 94% for existing two face pictures.
