Abstract
An efficient marching-on-in-degree (MOD) scheme of surface integral equation (SIE) is proposed to analyze the transient electromagnetic scattering from the conductor coated with multilayer thin mediums. By using the thin dielectric sheet (TDS) approach, the spatial unknowns are only assigned to the surface of scattering targets, thus the number of spatial unknowns is reduced significantly. Moreover, the late-time stability is ensured by eliminating the time variable with the weighted Laguerre polynomials. Numerical results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of this new proposed integral equation.
