Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a popular technology where Smart Devices and sensors enable the delivery of data and communication. Internet of Things is the concept of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The primary motive of this research analysis is to ensure data reliability and accuracy during communication. This proposed work has implemented the energy-efficient Pegasis routing protocol in WSN. The proposed Ant Lion Optimization (ALO) algorithm is implemented to calculate the optimal path to ensure high-speed data transfer. The proposed model has minimized the energy consumption, End to End Delay (E2D), overhead, and increased the packet delivery rate compared with current routing protocols like Rendezvous Protocol in WSN. The average packet delivery rate of the proposed model is 95%, with 0.0127 joules energy consumption on an Intel Core i3 processor with 4GB RAM.
