Abstractmagnified imageTungstate sulfuric acid catalyzes the three component condensation reaction of an aromatic aldehyde, urea and a β‐ketoester under solvent‐free conditions to afford the corresponding dihydropyrimidinones in high to excellent yields at room temperature.
