Abstract

An automatic radio tracking and biotelemetry system has been designed for moose. Initial tests indicate a tracking accuracy of ± 15 m in a 4000 ha space using hyperbolic triangulation. The system can handle up to 60 animals with a sample of each animal every 2 min.
