Abstract

This paper introduces an automatic semantic Web service composition method which is based on ontology, aiming to solve the common problem of semantic heterogeneity in web service description. Such method regards web service as a triple set. Input and output parameters are labeled by domain ontology, service domains by category ontology, and matching scopes by synonym sets in WordNet. Meanwhile, by referring to web service composition historical records, this method helps to combine new Web services. In addition, the method can have either single or multiple input parameters with one single output.
