Abstract

In today's competitive world, Web services play an important role. With the spread of Web services, their exploration and combination become difficult and time-consuming processes. Accordingly, it is essential to perform the processes efficiently. On the other hand, the emergence of Semantic Web as a way to display information in a way that is understandable for machines and also non-human factors, has created a revolution in web technology. Semantic Web services would take advantage of the dynamics of Web and Semantic services in Semantic Web. In fact, semantic web services attempt to overcome current limitations using Semantic Web Composition with Web services. In this manner, this study focuses on semantic web services. In this study, an integrated method has been presented for automatic Semantic Web Service Composition using techniques of artificial intelligence planning. Implementation of this method is done through a software system that is responsible for the process transformation, increased semantic efficiency, select a service based on quality parameters, replacing services and show the results. In this method, descriptions of OWL-S Web service using planning domain definition language (PDDL) become an issue of planning and services are selected using concepts and qualitative parameters available for Composition and after Composition using external planners, Composition services are visible in the form of a scheme. Also a case study has been presented to demonstrate capabilities, efficiency and potential of this method that finally an optimized Composition of services has been obtained.
