Abstract

Abstract This paper describes the design aspects of an automatic air pollution monitoring station. The station uses commercially available sensors and measuring equipment and is capable of monitoring O3, CO, HC, NOx and sulphur compounds. Particular attention is paid in the design to the easy testability of the system in the field. The sensors produce a noisy environment (spikes) and the station is designed to operate in this environment
