Abstract

It might be necessary to develop a scientific and systematic escalatory management model of private forests to resolve the continued low forestry income caused by difficulty in reasonable private forest management due to small and dispersed owership size. Therefore, this study looked into the overall present conditions of private forest management and grasped the importance and performance analysis for escalatory forest management through the surveys conducted on contracted forests in accordance with the proxy management system. In result, the cronbach's-alpha-coefficient trust level required for large-scale forest management came out to 0.991. Also, IPA results showed that a supply system for laborers and forestry equipment is a priority in need, and that continued effort is required for the reduction of initial investment cost due to the national subsidy expansion.
