Abstract
Abstract We designed and constructed two all-plastic enclosures suitable for caging 50 juvenile channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) for in situ studies. The basic design allows caged organisms to come in contact with both sediment and water, but it can be easily altered to produce a cage that allows no contact between organisms and sediment. Both cage configurations were tested in the field and were found to be practical and durable.
