Abstract
The 64-DAPSK-OFDM transmission techniques for HF communications are investigated in this paper. The error probability of 64-DAPSK in mobile fading channels is evaluated, the optimum ring ratio is given and detection thresholds are determined. Extensive computer simulation results show that 64-DAPSK-OFDM is superior to the widely adopted 64-QAM and it can be a potential choice for spectrally efficient digital transmission over different HF channels.
