Editor's Note: In his application to leave school, Zhong Zhitnin, a student of the Department of Political Science at Nanjing University, made a self-criticism of his mistake to enter the university by the "back door." It represents on one hand the new attack of the worker-peasant-soldier students on the ideology of the landlords and the bourgeoisie; on the other, the revolutionary dynamism on the educational front.
