An analysis on the current clinical medical undergraduate student' s professional ideal

Abstract

Objective To strengthen the employment for medical student by studying the current medical undergraduate student' s professional ideal.Methods To sample the clinical medical undergraduate student' s professional ideal by questionnaires which have been sent to 1 500 students.1 422pieces have been reclaimed and 1368 of them are effective.The available recovery rate for the questionnaire is 91.2％.Results 45.8％ of the students showed that to be a medical student is not their own profession ideal; 51.0％ of the students tell that they would rather get a job not related to mediine in the big city or with their families than work in the countryside engaged in medicine; 54.3％ hesitated about their professional ideal; 57.3％ of the students make a clear statement that they may not take a job related to medicine in the future.Conclusions The current clinical medical undergraduate student ' s professional ideal is facing high challenge from all sides.To build up,insist and carry out their professional ideal,all of which are needed to be enhanced.
