Abstract
Objective Study on the characteristics of learning burnout of eight year medical students. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 320 students of eight year clinical medicinefrom grade 2008 to 2015 in a university in Guangzhou, using general situation questionnaire and college students’ learning burnout inventory. Results (1) the scores of each dimension of the clinical medical students’ learning burnout are: low in emotional and low in achievement. (2) 42.1%, 13.5%, 5.9% of the respondents were 1, 2, 3 dimensions of the score were equal to or greater than 3 points. (3) there was a significant difference in learning burnout among the eight year medical students (P<0.05) with different demographic characteristics. Conclusions Eight years of medical students in half of the students had different degrees of learning burnout phenomenon, different demographic characteristics of the eight year medical students learning burnout situation was different, and it was closely related with gender, school year, income and other factors. Medical school should attach great importance to take effective measures to give personalized guidance and help to ease their learning burnout.
