Abstract
College students attending a university were asked to participate in a study regarding course workload and stress. It was found that student-athletes tend to carry more stress due to the time commitment to their sport. The researchers asked questions from a stress test to evaluate how stress impacted these students. In the survey, they factored in major, minor, credits per semester, internships, and jobs. All of these factors had a part in determining the amount of stress a student had. The study addressed in depth the relationship between a student’s course workload and the amount of stress they have which includes outside factors.
