Abstract
THE addition of 30 µg/ml. of 5-bromodeoxyuridine (BUDR) to HeLa cell cultures infected with adenovirus type 5 results in a marked inhibition of the synthesis of infectious virus, but does not prevent the development of cytopathic effect nor the formation of complement-fixing antigen1.
