An AI Edge Computing-Based Intelligent Rear Large Vehicles Approaching Intimation System for Motorcycles

Abstract

This paper proposes an intelligent rear vehicle approach intimation system for motorcycles based on AI edge computing technology. The proposed system is composed of an ultrasonic sensing module, an image sensing module, an AI edge computing module, and a Bluetooth earphone. The proposed system is installed in a motorcycle. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system can recognize rear-approaching large vehicles within 5 meters in real time.
