Abstract AMPCOLOY 712 is a medium-strength casting alloy. Its typical tensile strength is 60,000 psi in the as-cast condition. It has a good combination of strength, ductility and resistance to wear and corrosion. It is used widely for gears and formerly was known as Nickel Gear Bronze. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
