Abstract
Sun Capital Partners has sold speciality chemicals manufacturer Emerald Performance Materials to New York-based private equity firm American Securities LLC. Headquartered in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, USA, Emerald had been an affiliated portfolio company of Sun Capital since 2006. The private transaction was completed on 1 August; the terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
