Abstract Aluminum 6563 is an aluminum extrusion alloy recommended for trim applications, combining medium strength and formability with good finishing characteristics. It responds to an age-hardening heat treatment. Alloy 6563 is a modification of alloy 6063 with improved finishing characteristics and somewhat lower mechanical properties. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining.
