Abstract

Background and Aims: Increased artificial light exposure, as well as mistimed light exposure through shift work, are associated with cardiovascular disease in humans. However, causality and underlying mechanisms have not yet been established. In this study, we explored the effect of these two different light intervention paradigms on atherosclerosis development in a humanized mouse model.
