Abstract
An attempt has been made to compare the alpha-spectroscopic factors (Sα) resulting from (d,6Li) and (3He,7Be) reactions on12C,24Mg,40Ca and58Ni employing potentials characterizing the same potential family for the deuteron and3He channels and another set of potentials characterizing a particular potential family for the6Li and7Be channels, respectively. The spectroscopic factors so extracted for all four targets agree reasonably well in the two reactions.
