Abstract

The aim of our study was to evaluate the clinical characteristics and differences between the allergic (AR) and non-allergic (NAR) rhinitis in children. The study involved 98 patients admitted ion ambulatory department of Iashvili central clinical hospital. The clinical picture, allergic evaluation including blood eosinophil counts, serum total IgE, specific IgE, and skin prick test were assessed and personal and family history were collected. The mean age of patients was 8,2+ 2,4 and there were no significant differences in age and sex between the AR and NAR group.
