Abstract

This work presents an algorithm to obtain the species distribution diagrams and the solubility curves for a chemical bath system containing ZnCl2, NH4NO3, KOH, and SC(NH2)2 in aqueous solution. This algorithm is useful to obtain the better chemical conditions for synthesizing high quality ZnO, ZnS, or Zn(OH)2 films by the chemical bath deposition technique. The algorithm requires to identify all the formed species from the chemical reagents. The chemical conditions can be obtained in a range of temperature from 25 °C to 90 °C. The better conditions to obtain the mentioned films are explained and justified with the respective optical, morphological and structural characterizations.
