Abstract

A new algebraio method for deadbeat control of multivariable linear time-invariant continuous systems is presented. This method enables us to find a feedback gain matrix and a piecewise-constant oontrol input vector such that the output vector of the closed-loop system is identical with given reference input vector for t≥dT where d=maxi, di - Kroneoker index and T is a given sampling period. The method is very practicable for computer aided design and illustrated by a two-input two-output linear time-invariant systems.
