Abstract
Abstract Six insecticides were applied to 12 randomized 500 x 16.2 ft (0.186 acre) plots in a 30 acre commercial alfalfa field. Each plot was bordered by an unsprayed area 12 x 500 ft. Three 1 x 100 ft subsamples were taken in each plot, using an ATV mounted high vacuum sampler, on 4 dates (pretreatment, 1, 3 and 8 days post treatment). The alfalfa was approximately 12 in in height on Aug 21 when treatments were applied with a low pressure (35 psi), low volume (11.7 gpa) John Deere High Boy Spraye
