Summary

Introduction

The alcohol consumption and heavy binge drinking in Russia tend to decrease since the last decade at least [6]. The hawthorn tincture is known as the pharmacy product most frequently used by drinkers in Russia [9,10]. Some consumers purchase pharmacy tinctures not because of the low price but as they hope to obtain better quality alcohol than vodka from the shop.
