Abstract
The time course of changes in the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of alcohol consumption by navy personnel is addressed. The significant improvement of life quality in the Navy over the last decade helped to attenuate the negative consequences of alcohol drinking. However, making military men responsible and moderate alcohol drinkers requires scientifically grounded education and training of future military officers because «alcoholic» behavioral stereotypes develop during the early years after graduation the institutes of higher military training.
