Abstract
In the present work, 5 aquaria were prepared, 3 series of experiments with one week intervals were carried out and total coliform bacteria counts were determined. Two each in aquarium of Tinca tinca L., 1758 and Alburnus escherichi Steindachner, 1987 were used. Dilutions from aquaria water were inoculated to VRBA (violet red bile agar). The petri dishes were incubated at 30±10C and 35±10C for 24 hours and the results evaluated.
