Abstract AISI type T15 is a cobalt type high-speed steel having maximum abrasion resistance and red hardness. It is recommended for all types of cutting tools where the machining operation is different and extreme. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, and machining.
