Abstract AISI Type 204 is a chromium-nickel-manganese type stainless steel comparable in properties to Type 304 stainless steel. It is austenitic, non-magnetic, and highly corrosion resistant. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-163.
