Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a new technology, as many industries have been using it for years. Recently, it has become a more available asset to university students and faculty. Due to this interest, guidelines and practices are being established in universities and academic libraries on how best to use AI. This paper covers some of the challenges currently facing academia when it comes to AI and the various ways AI can benefit academic libraries in teaching, collection services, and aspects of accessibility.
