Abstract

We have studied the aging of spin glass subjected to bond perturbation, which was based on the direct change in the spin–spin interaction Δ J , using photo illumination where there is no change in temperature. As a result, the change in time-dependent relaxation rate was observed under bond cycling procedure. This indicates that the bond perturbation using photo illumination affects the spin-glass dynamics through the decrease in the overlap length. Furthermore, the partial rejuvenation was observed. These results strongly support the evidence of the existence of the bond chaos and the overlap length.
