Abstract

Abstract Aging behavior of a semiconductor spin glass Cd 0.63 Mn 0.37 Te is studied using a new protocol, which is based on the direct change in the spin–spin interaction Δ J through the photo excitation of carrier. The time-dependent magnetization, measured after the Δ J perturbation, shows the characteristic behavior so as to support the existence of overlap length, which is the basic concept in the droplet picture of spin glass.
