Abstract

The study of professional literature and information sources showed that the improvement of results in the mid-race running depends on the joint development of agility and speed endurance. A study of agility skills of high-class mid-race runners showed that they have a high level of agility, which has a high correlation percent value with an athletic result of 800 m: men - 94.9 %, women - 92.9 %. Thus their agility skills and speed endurance correspond to the principle offered to determining a speed endurance coefficient.
