Brown is chairman of the Department of Psychology al the University of California. From 1942 to 1945, he worked with the Aviation Psychology Program. He has been a consultant to various governmental agencies, and to industry. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1929. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology in the field of industrial psychology. Edwin E. Ghiselli received his Ph.D. from the University of California in 1936 and is now a professor of psychology in that institution. He is the co-author with Professor Brown of Personnel and Industrial Psychology, published by McGraw-Hill in 1948. A consultant to industry and governmental agencies, he worked with the Aviation Psychology Program during the war. He is a diplomate in industrial psychology.
