Abstract

PREFACEAEROTECH conference was founded in 2005 and first held in Putrajaya, Wilayah Persekutuan. Since then, subsequent AEROTECH conferences were held biennially and this year, it is the seventh edition in the series. AEROTECH conference is organized by Department of Aerospace Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia and it is initiated to provide a platform for both local and international aerospace communities to convene and share the recent development and progress in the various fields of aerospace engineering and technology. For this edition, AEROTECH VII conference is co-organized with Universiti Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia Institute of Aviation Technology. Overall, AEROTECH VII organizer has received about 70 paper submissions from both local and international communities. After extensive review process by at least two experts from the relevant field, 60 papers are accepted to be presented at the conference with 15 of them have been selected for this conference publication. The aerospace industry has a long and storied history of innovating to meet the societal needs. Today, sustainability and efficiency are the key motivators for aerospace researchers within the industry and academia. Hence, AEROTECH VII adopts the theme “Sustainability in Aerospace Engineering and Technology”. The aim of AEROTECH VII is to promote creativity and advancement of the aerospace engineering and technology to meet present and future needs while at the same time, maintaining the spirit of sustainable solutions. Members of academia and industry are expected to exchange ideas and realize new and novel solutions to meet future challenges. AEROTECH VII has attracted researchers and scientists not only from Malaysia but also from countries such as Iraq, Australia, Thailand, Libya, India, Oman and Russia. The conference covers researches in aerospace engineering fields including aerodynamics, propulsion, aerospace structure and material, aerospace design, space systems, flight and system performance, aerospace management and operation, and aerospace reviews.
