Abstract

The nearly free molecular hypersonic flow of rarefied gas over bodies of different geometrical shapes (sphere, disk, cone) is considered. A study is made of the influence of the composition of the atmospheric gas on the aerodynamic characteristics of these bodies when the flow past them is not symmetric and they rotate around one of their axes.
