Abstract

A novel perovskite solar cell configuration based on FTO/TiO2/FACsPbI3/Spiro-OMeTAD/Au has been developed by using Solar cell capacitance simulation software to significantly improve both efficiency and stability. FACsPbI3 PSCs show superior power conversion efficiency when compared with single-junction CsPbI3 and FAPbI3-based PSCs. To achieve optimal device performance, the study examines factors such as absorb layer thickness, defect density, carrier concentration, and operating temperature. To address excessive carrier recombination and enhance carrier lifespan, the absorber layer's thickness is optimized to 600 nm, and defect densities are adjusted to 1014 cm−3. The research findings represent a strategy for developing high-efficiency mixed cations of organic–inorganic PSCs.
