Abstract

At present, with the application of bacterial typing and homology analysis methods, it has made great progress in epidemic strain analysis, epidemiology research and nosocomial infection control work in clinical laboratory. The article gives an overview of current common methods, such as pulsed-field gel electrophoresis, multilocus sequence typing, matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats. Key words: Bacterial typing technigues; Pulsed-field gel electrophoresis; Multilocus sequence typing; Matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry; Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats
