Abstract

Acute respiratory tract infection (ARTI) is a common infectious diseases in childhood. The pathogens include viruses, bacteria, fungi, mycoplasma, chlamydia and so on. In recent years, with the development of pathogen detection method, acute respiratory tract multiple pathogens infection in children is increasing and comes into notice, including virus-virus, viruses and other pathogens like bacteria, mycoplasma, chlamydia infection, etc. In this paper, the epidemic situation, characteristics of acute respiratory tract multiple pathogens infections in children, the relationship with disease severity are reviewed.
