Abstract

With the increase of life pressure and the change of diet and living habits, the incidence of breast diseases is increasing year by year. Ultrasound is the most commonly used method to diagnose breast diseases. With the continuous development of ultrasound technology, new ultrasound technology has successfully made up for the deficiency of conventional ultrasound in differentiating benign and malignant breast masses, in which ultramicro angiography can clearly display the low-velocity blood flow information in breast masses; real-time shear wave elastography can qualitatively and quantitatively analyze breast masses, and can display the hardness information of masses; contrast-enhanced ultrasound can fully display the changes of micro-vascular blood flow. The continuous development of these new ultrasound techniques provides imaging support for clinical diagnosis of breast diseases. Therefore, this paper reviews the techniques of ultramicro angiography, real-time shear wave elastography, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
